- A dedicated Latvian folklore server managed by Ansis Ataols Berzins. Includes a comprehensive list of all Latvian folklore groups, with sound samples.
- The website of Krisjanis Barons museum. See the apartment where the famous editor spent the last four years of his life, look for folklore related events to participate in.
- The contents of Dainu skapis. Still only in Latvian. Contains a search engine to search the texts of the published edition of "Latvju Dainas", providing an opportunity to see the original manuscript slips as well. (Hosted by a private companyLURSOFT). In case you want to give it a try, but have no idea what to enter in the search window, start with dziesma ('song'). But you can use any web translation service to help you with the search and the analysis of the results.
- Historical documents dealing with issues of (early) Latvian folkloristics, a web library which is one of the projects implemented by AILAB - Artificial Intelligence Lab. Will require good command of Latvian to use, though.
- An easy way to learn some Latvian folk tune - listen to it in MIDI format. Now includes also mp3 of the originals (where available) and the song text transcripts. (Connected to the website"Mūzika Latvijā")
