In 1986 the Institute of Language and Literature of the Academy of Sciences of Latvian SSR published a melody collection (notes) entitled Precibu dziesmas ('Marriage Songs'). On the 110th page there is this melody with the number 141. Click on the notes to hear what it sounds like:
Fourteen years later Latvian label Upe released a selection of songs entitled Skaistakas dziesmas ('The Most Beautiful Songs'), including the same song. Click on the outlined title to listen to the song:

But as obvious from the book page this song was recorded in 1969 by Vilis Bendorfs from the singer Augusts Lacis. Now you can compare which variant you like the most. And think of the correspondence between the transcription and the actual sound.
